Who we are

We are an active and lively WI with around 70 members with a wide variety of interest groups in addition to our main monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of every month. Our activities are led by members and are designed to attract and involve the varying ages and interests of us all.  Our monthly meetings are very varied and we have a good selection of guest speakers and social evenings.  Our groups which meet regularly include book discussion, wine tasting, current affairs, craft, gardening, poetry and music appreciation, play reading, flower arranging and a film group.  Coffee mornings, lunch clubs and evening meals are also very popular.  We also support and fund raise for a different local charity every year. Following voting by REWI members our chosen charity for fundraising in 2023 /24 is 'I Choose Freedom' .
